How to remove a credit card from the apple store
Below is a guide on how to remove your credit card or other type of payment card from your Apple iTunes account.
Note: We are not to be held liable for any issues that may occur and when in doubt please contact Apple support directly.
Step 1 – Open the iTunes Store.
Step 2 - Select ‘Account’ from the ‘Quick Links’ section on the right.
Step 3 - Select ‘Edit Payment Information’.
Step 4 – Select ‘None’.
Note: If you have an invalid card on record the ‘none’ option might not be available. You might need to provide a valid card first, then repeat this guide to be able to select the ‘none’ option.
Step 5 - Select ‘Done’.
Step 6 - Payment Information in the Account Information screen should now say ‘No payment card on file.’
Step 7 - Select ‘Done’ Again.
Note: You should also receive a confirmation email of changes.
